Review Monday: Balance Me pure skin face wash

Hoy os quiero hablar de un producto que me tiene contentísima desde que lo empecé a utilizar.

Se trata del limpiador facial “pure skin face wash”, perteneciente a la gama Daily Essentials de Balance Me.

Debido a que tengo dermatitis mi piel es muy sensible, por lo que encontrar productos cutáneos que me funcionen bien es una tarea complicada y cuando encuentro uno que me gusta soy muy fiel a ello.

Eso es lo que me ha pasado con este limpiador facial.

Desde que lo empecé a utilizar, hace alrededor de dos meses, he notado que mi piel está mucho más suave y menos irritada (sobre todo después de la ducha)

Su composición es en un 98% natural y no lleva alcohol, algo prioritario si tienes la piel sensible, por lo que es genial para un uso diario.

Tiene un efecto calmante para la piel, perfecto para esos desajustes que hacen que nos pique o que nos salgan rojeces.

Algo que me ha sorprendido es que, para ser un jabón, es bastante hidratante y muy suave. Después de retirarlo de la piel no notas esa tirantez que muchos jabones te hacen sentir.

El precio del bote de 125ml ronda los 19€ (16£), más los gastos de envío, y dura muchísimo. Yo tengo el de 50ml, llevo usándolo casi dos meses todos los días y aún me queda.

Por supuesto, cada piel es distinta y lo que en una funciona de maravilla en otra puede resultar un desastre. Pero hasta que no lo pruebas no puedes saberlo, así que es bueno darle una oportunidad a nuevos productos que pueden resultarnos muy beneficiosos.

Recomiendo al 100% el limpiador facial “pure skin face wash” y pienso probar más productos de Balance Me porque me he quedado bastante contenta con el resultado.

Today I want to talk to you about a product I’m really happy with ever since I started using it.

It is the “pure skin face wash” from the Daily Essentials gama of Balance Me.

Due to my dermatitis problem my skin is really sensitive, so is very difficult to find products for the skin that work good on me and when I find a good one I’m very loyal to it.

And that’s what happened with this face wash.

Ever since I started using it, two months ago or so, I noticed my skin softer and less irritated (especially after the shower)

Its composition is in a 98% natural and it doesn’t have alcohol in it, something really important if you have sensitive skin, so it’s really good for a daily use.

It has a shooting effect on your skin, perfect for when we have breakdowns and our skin itches and has redness.

Something that surprised me is that, even though it is soap, is very moisturizing and smooth. After you take it off you don’t feel that tightness that a lot of soaps make you feel.

The price of the 125ml bottle is around 19€ (16£) plus shipping costs, and it last a lot. I have the 50ml bottle, I’ve been using it everyday for the last two months and it’s still not empty.

Of course, every skin is different and something that works marvelously on one can be a disaster on the other. But you never know until you try it so it’s good to give the opportunity to new products that can turn up to be really beneficial for us.

I 100% recommend the “pure skin face wash” and I’m definitely trying more products of Balance Me because I’m really happy with the results.

Random Friday: #OOTD Through The Dark

Hi everyone!

Hoy para "Random Friday" os traigo un outfit nuevo que me encanta. 
Es más otoñal que invernal, pero para las que vivís en sitios en los que no hace tanto frío viene perfecto. Además es comodísimo, que eso siempre se agradece.

Today for "Random Friday" I bring you a new outfit that I love.
It's more autumnal than winterly, but for the ones of you who live in warmer places it goes great. Also, it's very comfortable, which is a plus.

El estampado de la falda se parece a la típica funda de sofá que tienen todas las abuelas por casa, sí, pero me enamoró cuando me la probé y no pude dejarla en la tienda. Tiene un rollo vintage muy entrañable y una muy bonita caída.


The pattern of the skirt looks like that sofa cover every grandma has in their house, yes, but I fell in love when I tried it on and I couldn't leave it in the shop. It has a cute vintage air and a very beautiful fall.

Tengo debilidad por los jerséys y camisetas de hombro caído, así que cuando ví este, tan oversized y tan calentito, no pude resistirme. Es cropped, pero decidí meterlo por dentro de las cintura de la falda para darle más volumen a la pate de arriba del look.

I have a soft spot for sweaters and t-shirts that show one shoulder, so when I saw this one, oversized and so warm, I couldn't resist. It is cropped, but I decided to put it in the waistband of the skirt to give more volume to the upper side of the outfit.

Fashion Wednesday: Christmas Clothes

Aprovechando que hoy es Navidad qué mejor post que uno hablando de ropa navideña.

Y por ropa navideña me refiero a esos jerséis de ‘cuanto más feo más bonito’ con estampados de renos o copos de nieve y colores imposibles que pican como si los hubieran hecho de esparto, a esos leggings cuyo estampado es una mezcla entre étnico y estridente y que sólo nos atrevemos a llevar el día de Navidad porque tenemos excusa pero que en el fondo nos encantaría poder llevar todo el tiempo porque bendita sea lo calentitos y cómodos que son o, como no, a los gorritos de Papá Noel, las diademas de cuernos de reno o cualquier accesorio llamativo que tengamos por casa (valen las guirnaldas)

Y, qué queréis que os diga, adoro esta ropa.

No es la más fashion del mundo, de eso no cabe duda, pero te echas unas risas con tu familia cuando apareces por la puerta llevando un onesie de reno (si tuviera una lista de “cosas que hacer antes de estar muerto” eso estaría en los primeros puestos) y, al final del día, esos recuerdos son los que te hacen sonreír cuando vienen a tu mente.

Así que poneos vuestras mejores Uggs, el jerséy más feo que encontréis en el armario y los leggings/pantalones más cómodos que tengáis, haceos un chocolate caliente, o no, y celebrad la Navidad de la manera más hogareña posible.

Y a todos los que no celebráis la Navidad, a los que nos os gusta o a los que no sois tan fans como yo de hacer el ridículo con la excusa de que es un día especial, desearos que paséis un día genial y que aprovechéis a tomar turrón igualmente, que está riquísimo.

Today is Christmas so what a better post than one talking about Christmas clothes.

And by Christmas clothes I mean those “the ugliest the better” super itchy sweaters with reindeers and snowflakes pattern and impossible colors, those leggings with a mix between ethnic and strident pattern and that we only dare to wear on Christmas because we have an excuse but that we wish we could wear everyday because God bless how warm and comfy they are or, of course, the Santa Claus hats, the headbands of reindeer antlers or any flamboyant accessory that we have in our homes (tinsels/garlands included)

And, what can I say, I love those clothes.

They’re not the trendiest ones, that’s for sure, but you have a laugh when you show up at the door wearing a reindeer onesie (if I had a “things to do before you die” list that would be at the top) and, at the end of the day, those are the memories that make you smile when they come to your mind.

So put on your best Uggs, the ugliest sweater you find in your wardrobe and the comfiest leggings/pants you have, make yourself a hot cocoa, or not, and celebrate Christmas in the coziest way.

And for all of you who don’t celebrate Christmas, the ones that don’t like them or the ones that aren’t as fans as I am of making a fool out of yourselves with the excuse of an special day, I wish you all have a great day and use the excuse of Christmas to eat a lot of delicious food.

Review Monday: Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Red

Ya sabéis que soy adicta al pintalabios rojo así que qué mejor post para empezar “Review Monday” que uno protagonizado por este producto de belleza.

Este invierno se han puesto de moda los tonos oscuros en los labios, y con el rojo no podía ser menos.

Por eso quiero hablaros del pintalabios cremoso rojo de Mary Kay. Es un tono rojo oscuro tipo granate/burgundy/oxblood/como queráis llamarlo.

El color me encanta, va genial con los colores que se llevan este invierno (verde militar, tartán, por supuesto negro…), hidrata bastante (aunque los he probado aún más hidratantes) y no necesita muchos retoques, algo que todas apreciamos cuando estamos fuera y tenemos que sacar el espejo todo el rato para ver si nuestro pintalabios sigue intacto.

Es cremoso pero aguanta bastante tiempo sin que se le vaya el brillo o el color, y tiene mucha pigmentación, cosa que valoro muchísimo, ya sabéis la rabia que da cuando ves un color de pintalabios que te gusta y cuando te lo aplicas es totalmente distinto.

Además, si sigues un truco que aprendí hace unos años, puede aguantarte todo el día -incluso comiendo y bebiendo- perfectamente.

Truco: si te aplicas un poco de polvo de maquillaje compacto en los labios antes y después de aplicarte el pintalabios, aguantará mucho más tiempo y evitarás que se te vaya al comer, beber… Lo único es que se quedará más mate que brillante, pero a mí personalmente me gusta así.

Otra de las ventajas de este pintalabios es su precio. Ronda alrededor de los 10€ que, si lo comparamos con otras marcas, es súper barato.

Algo muy bueno sobre los pintalabios de Mary Kay es que duran bastante. De hecho, habéis podido verme llevándolo en posts de hace ya tiempo.

En conclusión, recomiendo totalmente este pintalabios y Mary Kay en general, tengo más productos de esta marca y son todos de muy buena calidad.

You know I’m addicted to red lipstick so what a better way to start “Review Monday” than with a post about this beauty product.

This winter dark colors on the lips are very on trend and it couldn’t be less with red.

That’s why I want to talk about Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in red. Is a dark red tone similar to burgundy/oxblood/however you want to call it.

I love the color, it goes great with the colors of this winter (military green, tartan, of course black…), is very moisturizing (even though I’ve tried even more moisturizing ones) and it doesn’t need a lot of retouches, something we all appreciate when we’re out and we have to be all the time looking in the mirror if the lipstick stays fine.

It’s very creamy but it last a lot of time without losing brightness or color, and it’s very pigmented, which I value a lot, you know how bad is it when you see a color of lipstick you really like and when you try it on is totally different.

Also, if you follow a trick I learned a few years ago, it can last you all day –even eating and drinking- looking perfect.

Trick: if you apply some compact powder on your lips before and after putting on the lipstick it will last a lot longer and it won’t go when you eat, drink… The only thing is that iIt will look more matte than bright, but I like it like that.

Another benefit of this lipstick is its price. It’s around 15$ in America which, if you compare it with other brands, is very cheap.

Something really good about Mary Kay lipsticks is that they last a lot of time. Actually, you can see me wearing it in a lot of old posts.

In conclusion, I completely recommend this lipstick and Mary Kay in general, I have more products of this brand and they’re all very good quality.
