KCA's 2012

Hi everyone!

Bueno, ante las exigencias de algunas personas de que actualizara el blog, he decidido hacer un “mini post” dedicado a los KCA’s, que se celebraron ayer en LA.

No estoy muy inspirada, así que no es de mi mejores post, pero es mejor que nada.

Como no tengo mucho tiempo, he decidido poner solo los looks que más me gustaron o los que más llamaron mi atención

Antes de comenzar, quiero pedir perdón por haber tenido esto tan abandonado últimamente, pero esto de ser estudiante de 2º de Bachillerato hace que tu tiempo libre se reduzca a… ¡NADA!

 So many people asked me for more post, so I’ve decided to write a “mini post” dedicated to the KCA’s, which were celebrated yesterday in LA.

I’m not very inspired, so this is not one of my best post, but is better than nothing.

I don’t have many time, so I’ve just chose the best looks.

Before starting, I want to apologize to all of you for not being around here lately, but I’m in my last course in the High School and I have no free time (literally)

Comienzo con una de mis favoritas (y no solo de ayer, sino de siempre) Emma Stone, con un conjunto en tonos pastel (los colores de este verano) firmado por Antonio Berardi de la colección Otoño 2012 y cuñas de Alejandro Ingelmo en color nude.

Ahora que ha vuelto a su rubio natural, los colores claros le dan un toque más femenino y relajado, y le quedan genial.

¡Si es que esta chica acierta se ponga lo que se ponga!

 

I start with one of my favorites (always) Emma Stone, with a pastel tones dress (the colors of this summer) designed by Antonio Berardi and wedges by Alejandro Ingelmo in nude color.

She came back to her natural blonde color, so those soft colors look perfect on her.

Seguimos adelante y pasamos a Kristen Stewart que, como de costumbre, no sé si me gustó o no.

Fiel a su estilo, llevo un minivestido de encaje azul con cintura de satén de Stella McCartney y taconazos, azules también, de Barbara Bui.

La verdad es que el peinado (una coleta alta), los colores y el maquillaje le iban perfectos pero, no sé, a mi es que nunca me termina de convencer esta chica…

 

 

Now we go straight to Kristen Stewart. Like almost always, I have no idea if I like her or not.

True to her style, she wore a tight, short, blue lace dress by Stella McCartney and high heels, in blue too, by Barbara Bui.

To be honest, the hairstyle (a ponytail), the colors and the makeup were very appropriate, but there is something with this girl that never ends to convince me...

Vamos ahora con Selena Gomez. No soy muy fan de este tipo de outfits que se han puesto tan de moda últimamente, pero la verdad es que me gustó bastante cómo fue.

Su Dolce & Gabbana de dos piezas en tonos metalizados y decoración floral fue de los más triunfadores del evento. Consiguió parecer sexy sin desentonar en un ambiente tan infantil como el de los KCA.

Lo único que no me gusto fueron sus zapatos de Cesare Paciotti. Tuvieron mucho éxito, pero creo que no es una buena elección ponerse unos zapatos rosas y naranjas cuando vas a desfilar por una alfombra, precisamente, naranja.

 

Let’s move on to Selena Gomez.

Her two pieces dress by Dolce & Gabbana, in metal tones and floral print was one of the most acclaimed of the event.

The only thing I didn’t like were the shoes, designed by Cesare Paciotti. They were very successful, but I don’t think is a good choice to wear pink and orange shoes if you’re going to walk on an orange carpet, just saying....

A Taylor Swift la he puesto más que nada porque tengo predilección por ella (sí, lo reconozco). Lució un vestido muy sencillo de Maria Lucia Hohan en tonos crema y sandalias doradas.

Desde luego, no fue de sus mejores looks, pero tengo que reconocer que la caída del vestido es preciosa y el peinado le quedaba perfecto.

 

I only mention Taylor Swift because I really appreciate her.

She wore a simple dress designed by Maria Lucia Hohan in cream tones and golden sandals.

Obviously, it wasn’t one of her best looks, but I have to recognize that she looked gorgeous and, at the end of the day, this is the important thing.

Ashley Tisdale, muy guapa y muy apropiada, con un vestido de gasa rojo con falda asimétrica de Kymerah. Para evitar que el look quedara demasiado soso o excesivamente colorido, escogió el negro para los complementos.

She chose the color black for the accessories. I loved the sandals.

Por último, y como algo excepcional, quiero hacer una mención especial a los looks de los chicos de One Direction.

Normalmente no suelo hablar de ropa masculina (a pesar de que muchas veces la prefiero a la femenina) pero es que me encantan sus estilismos.

Ayer no llevaron sus mejores looks, pero he de decir que normalmente suelen ir perfectamente conjuntados y combinados entre ellos (a pesar de que cada uno tiene su estilo propio) a todas las entregas de premios, eventos…

Pero bueno, lo que yo quería decir es que la responsable de sus estilismos es Caroline Watson y que merece la pena buscar imágenes de los looks de estos chicos porque no están nada mal… (hablo de su ropa, mal pensados)

 

Finally, and as something exceptional, I want to make a special mention to the One Direction boys' looks.

I don’t usually talk about male clothes (though I sometimes like it more than the female clothes) but I just love their outfits.

Yesterday they didn’t wear their best outfits, but they usually go perfectly combined (obviously, each of them have their own style) to all the ceremonies, events…

Well, what I wanted to say is that the responsible of their outfits is Caroline Watson and that you should go and look for pictures of their looks because it worth it.

Pues esto es todo. Como ya he dicho antes, no ha sido uno de mis mejores post. Lo he hecho deprisa y corriendo, y más que nada para que vierais que no he abandonado el blog ni nada, sino que no tengo mucho tiempo para actualizarlo.

Prometo ponerme las pilas a mediados de Mayo y subir muchos más post.

De verdad que siento mucho haber estado todo este tiempo sin subir nada.

 And that’s it! Like I said before, it hasn't been one of my best post. I did it fast and just to let you know that I didn’t leave the blog. I just don’t have time to write.

Hi everyone!

Hoy os enseño un look de estreno (las rebajas dieron para mucho)
Según mis amigos es bastante rockero ¡Me encanta!

New clothes, new look, new style.

No sabía que los pantalones de “cuero” fueran tan sumamente cómodos. Han pasado a mi lista de favoritos.
 
I didn't know "leather" pants were so comfortable. They are, now, in my list of favourites.

 

Aunque, sin duda, lo que más me gusta es la camiseta de Londres (Andaba buscando una desde hacía bastante tiempo)

También estrené bolso ayer. De asa corta, negro y sencillo. Atemporal. (Aunque me ha costado un montón encontrarlo.  Me decían que, como ahora todo era de nueva temporada, no les venía nada en negro. ¡Pero si el negro se lleva siempre!)
 

I also have a new black bag. (Altough, it was so difficult for me to find it. At the stores, they told me that, with all the new season's clothes comming, they didn't have anything in black. Come on! Black is timeless!)

Oversized jumper & pink coat

Hi everyone!

¡Hoy voy de estreno! (Gracias a las rebajas) Este post va dedicado a: una de las prendas más cómodas que conozco (el jersey oversized) y a mi color favorito (el rosa).

I have new clothes! (Thanks to the sales) Today's post is dedicated to: one of the most comfortable clothing that I have (the oversized jumper) and my favourite colour (pink).

 

Sé que no es ninguna novedad lo de los jerseys oversized, de hecho, las egobloggers llevan enseñandolos en sus blogs desde hace ya un montón de tiempo. Pero no fue hasta hace bien poco cuando me animé a empezar a llevarlos, y me hacía ilusión enseñaroslos.

I know oversized jumpers are not something new, actually, egobloggers have been showing them on their blogs for a long time. But it wasn't until a few days ago when I started to wearing them, and it makes me happy to show you my them.

También queria enseñaros parte de mis compras de rebajas. Aparte del jersey azul clarito, también me compré un bombín (¡Es tan Charlie Chaplin!).

I also wanted to show you some of my sales shopping. Apart from the pale blue jumper, I also bought a bowler hat (It is so Charlie Chaplin!)

 

Y, por último, otra de las compras que hice este sábado (Ya os iré enseñando más): un precioso abrigo color magenta. ¡Me encanta!

And, finally, a gorgeous magenta coat. I love it! (I bought more things that I will show you soon)

And the Golden Globe goes to...

Siento no haber subido nuevos post durante estos días, he estado muy ocupada con la vuelta a las clases. ¡Y CON LAS REBAJAS!

I've been very busy with the coming back to school... and shopping! So, I couldn't post, sorry.

El post de hoy lo he dedicado a los vestidos de los globos de oro. ¿A qué no os lo esperábais?
Tenía ganas de dar mi opinión sobre lo que vi sobre la alfombra roja.

Today's post is dedicated to the dresses of the Golden Globes. You didn't expected this, right?
I felt like giving my opinion about what I saw on the red carpet.

He decidido que, como son muchas las famosas que desfilaron ante los flashes (y si las pongo a todas esto se haría eterno), voy a hablar sólo de las que más se ha hablado, las que más han llamado mi atención o, simplemente, las que más me han gustado.

A lot of celebrities went to the event, so I've decided just to talk about the most commented ones, those who have called my atencion or, simply, my favourite ones.

Empecemos con mi favorita/Let’s start with my favourite one of the event: Charlize Theron.

 

Deslumbró en la alfombra roja con un fabuloso Dior de alta costura en color nude. Me encantó que innovara con el corto del vestido y la cola por detrás. Le dio un poco de aire fresco a un evento como este, en el que predominan los vestidos largos (en todas sus diferentes versiones)

Cabe destacar también su escotazo, en forma de pico y, pronunciado no, pronunciadísimo. (Muy pocas se atreven a llevarlo y son capaces de lucirlo tan bien)
Lo único que no me gustó fueron los zapatos (de Givenchy). Las sandalias tan abiertas, con tan poca sujeción, no me gustan, las veo sumamente incómodas.
En cuanto a las joyas (todas de Cartier); me ganó definitivamente con la diadema, adornando un moño bajo con algunos mechones sueltos, y dándole un aire de lo más romántico. Era el toque final que necesitaba su look.

 

 She was stunning on the red carpet with a colour nude couture Dior. I loved how she innovated with a long-short dress, something different on an event where the dresses are, usually, all long (on their different versions)
It was also fabulous the pronounce neckline of the dress.
The only thing I didn't like were the shoes (by Givenchy). They look so unconfortable.
I really loved her headband (I'm so Blair Waldorf in this. Always wear a headband!) It makes her look more romantic, the final perfect touch.

Continuaré con mi segunda favorita/I’ll continue with my second favourite one: Emma Stone.

 

¡Esta chica me encanta! Es muy buena actriz y, por lo menos en las entrevistas, es súper simpática. ¡Además siempre acierta! No sé cómo lo consigue, pero, vaya a la gala que vaya, siempre sabe qué llevar y cómo llevarlo.

Llevó un vestido bicolor en burdeos y ciruela, con un cinturón joya que marcaba su cintura, todo ello de Lanvin.
El escote de pico, con el volumen que le aporta la tela de gasa, no podría quedarle mejor.
El peinado, con aspecto despeinado y suaves ondas, era lo que mejor le iba al vestido. ¡Y menos mal que volvió al pelirrojo! (hace ya bastante tiempo) Le va genial a sus ojos verdes.

I really like this girl! She is a very good actress and, at least when she's making interviews, is super nice. Besides, she looks always great on the red carpet! I don't know how she does, but she always know what to wear and how to wear it.
She wore a bicolor dress in bordeaux and plum, with a jewelry belt, all of it by Lanvin.
The waves of her hairstyle were perfect for the dress.
And thanks god she came back to the red hair! (A long time ago, actually) It makes her green eyes look even better.

Ahora, para no abrumaros con tanto elogio, voy a hablar de una de las que menos me gustaron/I don't want to bore you, so now I'm going to talk about one I didn't like, at all: Angelina Jolie.

 

 Sí, no habéis leído mal, pone Angelina Jolie. He leído en un montón de webs que fue maravillosamente bien a la gala, que estaba espectacular, bla, bla, bla… Pero a mí no me gustó nada.

Dejando aparte que, como ya sabéis, no me gusta nada el raso en ese tipo de tonalidades (no me parece un motivo suficiente para criticar un vestido), el color no le va nada a su tono de piel. Angelina es muy blanca, y si encima se pone un vestido brillante en color crudo, acaba llevándose el Globo de Oro a mejor caracterización de fantasma sobre la alfombra roja.
Otro de los motivos por los que no me gustó el vestido fue su forma. No me termina de convencer ese bordado en la cintura, lo veo extraño…
Aunque también tuvo cosas buenas (no todo podía ser malo) Angelina sabe sacarse partido, y lo demuestra utilizando tan sabiamente los tonos rojizos. A las personas pálidas les va de maravilla ese color.
¡Por cierto! El vestido era un Versace y el clutch un Louboutin.

 

 Yes, you didn't read it wrong, it says Angelina Jolie. I've read on a lot of webs that she was extraordinary on the event, spectacular, bla, bla, bla... But I didn't like it at all.
I hate satin fabric on those colors, and it doesn't look good on her skin tone. She is very pale and, if she wears a bright white dress, she wins the Golden Globe for the best ghost of the red carpet.
Another thing I didn't like of the dress was the form. It’s kinda weird...
But not everything is wrong, she also had good things. Angelina knows red is a great colour for pale people, and she knows how to use it wisely.
By the way! The dress was a Versace and the clutch was a Louboutin.

¿Otra de las que me gustaron?: Jessica Alba

 

Es difícil que a esta chica haya algo que no le quede bien, asique era de esperar que triunfara con su atuendo en esta gala.

Con su Gucci palabra de honor de pedrería en tonos malva, contrastando con su tono moreno de piel permanente, y esa sonrisa y dulzura que la caracterizan, estaba guapísima.
Al vestido le pondría una única pega, y es que quedara algo más suelto por debajo, no me gustan los vestidos largos que acaban muy cerrados (y eso que adoro a Audrey Hepburn y su Givenchy de “Breakfastast al Tiffanys") Pero eso es una manía mía, porque el vestido era perfecto tal y como estaba.

With a malva Gucci strapless dress, perfect for her tan tone skin, and that smile and that sweetness that characterize her... she was gorgeous!

Next one: Kate Beckinsale.

 

Sencilla pero elegante, Kate llevó un Roberto Cavalli de gasa, muy vaporoso, color rosa palo y con corte sirena.

Muchos criticaron que fuera “justiprieta”, pero a mí me pareció que fue perfecta, y que el vestido le favorecía un montón. (Envidia que tienen todas jeje)

 

Simple but smart, Kate wore a pink chiffon vaporous dress by Roberto Cavalli.
Many people critized her cause the dress was too tight, but I think she was perfect. (They are jealous, just it! LOL)

The great Natalie Portman

 

Es una gran actriz, eso no se lo pongo en duda, y la admiro por todo lo que hace y lo que ha conseguido (digo lo mismo de Angelina, que antes no lo he puesto), pero su vestido para los Globos de Oro de este año no termina de convencerme.

Lógicamente, no me gustó NADA que fuera de rosa y rojo (ya sabéis que odio esa combinación) pero eso no es lo único que no me gustó.
La forma del vestido no le hace justicia al cuerpo de Natalie. Ella es muy pequeña y delgada, y el abullonado a la altura del ombligo le hace un cuerpo raro.
De todas formas iba muy guapa. Al fin y al cabo, su vestido no fue de los peores de la gala.

She is a great actress, there's no doubt about it, and I admire her for everything she does and what she has gotten (I say the same about Angelina) but her dress doesn't convince me...
She wore red and pink, and I didn't like it at all, of course (you all know I hate this combination)
But, anyway, she looked so pretty. At the end of the day, her dress wasn't one of the worst.

Freida Pinto

 

Iba muy sencilla, pero su vestido de Prada triunfó. Yo lo veo muy normalito (que no es nada malo, todo sea dicho). Si ha gustado tanto es porque Freida es muy mona y, con ese semirecogido, y las joyas sencillas, consiguió que toda la atención se centrara en el vestido. Esa es la diferencia entre tener estilo o no, saber sacarle partido a cualquier prenda, por muy sencilla, extravagante, rara, bonita o fea que sea.

 

She went simple, but her Prada dress triumphed. I think the dress is very normal (but this is not a bad thing, don't misunderstand me). The dress liked the people because Freida is cute, and, with the easy hairstyle and the simple jewelry, all the attention was focused on the dress.
That's the difference between having or not having style, be able to wear any type of dress.

Otra de mis favoritas, Sarah Hyland

 

Y pensar que, en un principio, ni siquiera me fijé en su vestido… ¡Ahora me encanta! El encaje me pierde, es una de mis debilidades. Puedes parecer dulce y sexy al mismo tiempo con este tipo de tejido.

En cuanto al vestido, no tengo ninguna pega. Es un Dolce & Gabbana en nude (esta tonalidad de nude si que me gusta) y fajín negro. La caída es preciosa, y el contraste de colores de lo más elegante.
¡Lo quiero!

 

Can you believe that, on a very beginning, it didn't even called my attention? Now I love it!
I really like fabric lace, is one of my weaknesses. You can look sweet and sexy at the same time with this type of fabric.
I wouldn't change anything of the dress. Is a color nude Dolce & Gabbana (is the only tone of color nude that I like) and black sash.
I want it!

Me hubiera gustado sacar a más famosas, pero me es imposible, no tengo tiempo biológico, tengo que estudiar un montón u.u
I would have liked to talk about more actresses, but I don’t have time, I have to study a lot u.u
