Ethnic leggings

Siento que mis entradas sean tan intermitentes, pero la vida del estudiante es así. Espero que la cosa mejore cuando me den las vacaciones...

Hello my lovely followers! How have you been during all this time I've been disappeared? I'm sorry my posts are so irregular, but this is the life as student. I hope that gets better when I'm on holidays...  

Hoy os traigo un look muy cómodo y algo más primaveral (aunque por aquí de primavera poco) con estos legings étnicos como prenda principal.

Today I bring you an spring and very comfortable outfit (although here looks like the spring hasn't arrived yet) with these ethnic leggings as the protagonist.

Los que me seguís en Twitter (tanto en el personal, como en el del blog) sabréis que esta mañana he ido al Ikea con mis padres ¡Me encanta! Hemos comprado algunas cosillas para mi habitación, entre ellas, estas velas que huelen súper bien. Resulta que estoy redecorando mi habitación y había pensado en subir una entrada cuando haya terminado para enseñárosla. Así que si queréis que lo haga, o si tenéis algunas ideas de cómo podría decorarla, no dudéis en comentármelo. Eso me ayudaría un montón.

The ones who follow me on Twitter (my personal one or the one I made for the blog) probably know already that I went this morning to Ikea with my parents. I love it! We bought some things for my room, like this candles that smell delicious. And the thing is, I'm redecorating my room and I thought of uploading a post when it's all finished to show you it. So, if you want me to do it, or if you have any good ideas of how can I decorated it, go ahead and leave me a comment. I'm sure it will help me a lot.

Y, ya por último, os dejo una foto de la riquísima tarta de queso que hice el otro día, que me hace ilusión.

Stewardess style

Hi everyone!

¡Hola guapos y guapas! ¿Qué tal va el fin de semana? Hoy os traigo el outfit que llevé ayer para salir a tomar algo con mis amigos.

En esta ocasión, decidí "darle otra vida" a un vestido que ya casi ni me ponía haciéndolo parecer una falda.  

Mis amigos me dijeron que parecía una azafata y me hizo mucha gracias, de ahí el título.

Espero que os guste el look.

Hi beautiful people! How is your weekend going? Today I bring you the outfit I wore yesterday to go out with some friends.
For this ocassion, I decided to "give a second life" to a dress I don't wear anymore making it look like an skirt. 
My friends told me I looked like an stewardess and I thought it was very funny, that's the reason of the title of the post.

And the Oscar goes to...

Hi everyone!

Como ya sabéis, ayer se celebró la 85ª edición de los premios Oscar en Los Ángeles, y medio Hollywood se reunió en el Dolby Theatre (anteriormente el Kodak Theatre) luciendo sus mejores, y no tan mejores, galas.

As you all know, yesterday the 85th edition of the Academy Awards (The Oscars) was celebrated in Los Angeles, and half of Hollywood reunited in the Dolby Theatre (formerly the Kodak Theatre) in their finest, and not that finest, clothes.

He hecho una selección de algunos de los vestidos que más me gustaron, que más me llamaron la atención o de los que más se habló ¡Allá vamos!

I made a selection of some of the dresses I like the most, the ones who called my atention, or the most talked ones. Here we go!

  

Naomi Watts

 

Empiezo con la que, probablemente, fue mi favorita de la noche. Naomi Watts apareció en la alfombra roja con un impresionante vestido plateado de paillettes (odio la palabra lentejuelas) de Armani Privé.

El original escote fue lo que me enamoró de este vestido.

I'll start with, probably, my favourite of last night. Naomi Watts appeared on the red carpet with an stunning paillettes dress in silver by Armani Prive.
The original cleavage was what made me fall in love with this dress.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence también me gustó un montón con este vestido en un tono rosa muy suave de Dior Haute Couture. Dio mucho que hablar el colgante, que caía por la espalda y que quedaba precioso.

I also really liked Jennifer Lawrence with this dress in a very lightly pink shade by Dior Haute Couture. The necklace on the back was very commented and it looked really beautiful. 

 

Jessica Chastain

Fue una de las primeras en llegar y una de las más comentadas. Su vestido dorado de Armani era bastante bonito, pero el tono no le favorecía nada.

She was one the first to arrive and one of the most commented. Her Armani gold dress was rather beautiful, but the color didn't look well on her.

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway me decepcionó bastante con su elección del vestido. En un principio, iba a llevar otro vestido, que luego lució durante su actuación en la gala (os pondré una imagen) pero, en el último momento, se decantó por este Prada rosado de satén que no terminaba de quedarle del todo bien.

De todas formas, y como voto a su favor, me recordó un poco a mi querida Audrey Hepburn.

Anne Hathaway dissapointed me with her dress choice. On a very begining, she was going to wear another dress, that she later wore during her performance in the ceremony (I will post a photo of it too) but, in the last moment, she decided to wear this pink satin Prada that didn't fit her very well.
Anyway, and as a good thing, she remembered me a little to my dearest Audrey Hepburn.

Amanda Seyfried

Su vestido gritaba "Alexander McQueen" por todos lados y le quedaba precioso. Aunque, a decir verdad, el color del vestido no era el más favorecedor para su tono de piel.

Her dress screamed "Alexander McQueen" everywhere and looked really beautiful on her. But, to be honest, the color wasn't the best for her skin tone.

Jennifer Aniston

Otro vestido que gritaba el nombre de su diseñador. Esta vez un elegante Valentino en rojo (una apuesta segura) Sin embargo, el peinado lo desmerecía bastante. Demasiado sencillo para tan impresionante vestido.

Another dress that screamed the name of it's desginer. This time an elegant Valentino in red (a secure bet) However, the hairstyle was too simple and normal for such an amazing dress.

Jennifer Hudson

Las apeturas ya me tienen bastante harta, pero me gusto mucho su Roberto Cavalli en tonos azules.

I liked her Roberto Cavalli in blue tones.

 

 

 Amy Adams

Preciosa con este vestido de princesa en tonos malva de Oscar de la Renta ¡Me encantó! (y la foto en las escaleras es realmente bonita)

Gorgeous with this princess dress in mauve by Oscar de la Renta. I loved it! (and the photo at the stairs is really pretty) 

Adele

 

Su actuación fue alucinante, a diferencia de su vestido. No tengo nada contra su Jenny Packham, pero últimamente me da la impresión de que Adele lleva siempre el mismo vestido a todas las galas.

Her performance was breathtaking, unlike her dress. I have nothing against her Jenny Packham, but lately I have the feeling that Adele wears always the same dress to all the events.

Reese Witherspoon

A ver ¿por dónde empiezo? El color le iba mucho, el peinado estilo años 20 le favorece un montón, es un Louis Vuitton... Hasta ahí, todo bien. Pero la forma de las caderas y del escote me parecieron horribles. Y eso estropea todo el conjunto.

Well, where do I start? The color goes good with her, the 20s hairstyle looks perfect on her, it's a Louis Vuitton... all great so far. But the shape of the dress on the hips  and the cleavage were horrible. And that ruins all the outfit.

¡Y hasta aquí la entrada de hoy! Se que hubo muchos más vestido dignos de mención, pero estos son los que he escogido. Espero que os haya gustado.

Hi everyone!

¡Hola queridos seguidores! ¿Cómo estáis hoy? Yo estoy muy contenta de poder traeros esta entrada tan especial.

Como ya os dije por Twitter, ayer tuve la oportunidad de ir a la Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (la Cibeles de toda la vida) por primera vez.

Fue una experiencia increíble estar allí, rodeada de moda por todos lados y gente con tan diferentes estilos ¡Me encanto!

Tengo que agradecerle a Hana (ha abierto un blog hace poco y pronto empezará a postear cosillas) por conseguir las entradas, y a Paloma, Lorena, Bárbara y Leyre por la buena tarde que me hicieron pasar junto a ellas allí.

A continuación os dejo las fotos del look que llevé y, más abajo, alguna fotillo que saqué dentro. (Agradecerle también a Alicia el dejarme su cámara porque la mía se la tuvieron que llevar mis padres)

Hello lovely followers! How are you all today? I'm really really happy to bring you this special post.

As I told you in my Twitter, yesterday I had the opportunity of going to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (aka Cibeles Fashion Week) for the first time.

It was an incredible experience being there, surrounded by fashion everywhere and people with so many different styles. I loved it!

I have to thank Hana (she recently opened a blog and she will start posting soon) for getting the tickets, and to Paloma, Lorena, Bárbara y Leyre for the good moments we had there yesterday.

Now I leave you with the pictures of the outfit I wore and, later, some pictures I took inside. (I have to thank Alicia too for letting me her camera. My parents took mine)

No soy muy fan de la tendencia de las cruces, pero la verdad es que este cinturón me gustó bastante, y las cruces son muy sutiles.

I'm not a big fan of crosses, but I actually liked this belt, and the crosses are very subtle.

 ¡Tará! (Sí, es muy pronto por la mañana todavía como para mi cerebro funcione en condiciones) Y, no, no llevaban tacones (me siento bajita)/Tada! (Yes, it is too soon in the morning for my brain to work properly) And, no, they weren't wearing heels (I feel short)
